"AWOOOO~"

The Orca Whale’s roars grew increasingly shrill, and the blue door became more and more blinding. It was a classic case of being caught between a rock and a hard place.

"I’ll hold it off! You all protect the guide and get out of here!"

With no way to retreat, Lu Jingyu’s eyes instantly filled with resolve.

As he spoke, he pushed Xu Qingsui toward the other team members with one hand while pulling out his gun and aiming it at the Orca Whale with the other.

"Go regroup at the palace from before. If you don’t see me in an hour, find a way to clear this instance as fast as you can! CRACK!"

Lu Jingyu pulled the trigger. The bullet seemed to move in slow motion through the water, eventually striking the Orca Whale’s head.

Due to the water resistance and the Orca Whale’s thick hide, the bullet failed to pierce its skin, but it did slow the creature’s movements slightly.

"Go, now!"

Lu Jingyu knew the bullet’s effect wouldn’t last long. He turned and roared at the others.

His gaze fell involuntarily upon Xu Qingsui, and a thought quietly surfaced.

’She absolutely cannot be harmed!’

"You must protect the guide! That’s an order!"

"Yes, sir! We’ll carry out the order to the death!"

As an SSS level sentinel, Lu Jingyu was already a supreme existence in the hearts of his team members.

No one dared to hesitate now, preparing to protect Xu Qingsui’s retreat with their lives.

"It’s too late!"

But just as they were about to leave with Xu Qingsui, she stared straight ahead and uttered three words.

Following her gaze, the team saw a colossal, ink-black wave rising up, bringing with it an overwhelming pressure that crashed down on them.

It barred their path like a wall of bronze and iron.

Its huge body arched slightly, coiling to strike.

"If you break the instance rules, will you definitely be eradicated?" Despite having killed the blue-ringed octopus earlier, Xu Qingsui didn’t dare to be overconfident.

Her attention turned to the blue door, and she began to question the Golden Octopus.

She recalled the scene of killing the blue-ringed octopus and began to wonder if she could pull off the same trick again.

With a deafening roar, the coiled Orca Whale finally launched its attack.

Seeing the enormous body bearing down on them, Xu Qingsui grabbed Lu Jingyu with one hand and the team member closest to her with the other, retreating toward the blue door.

Lu Jingyu’s pupils dilated as he tried to stop her.

"Trust me!"

Xu Qingsui looked into his bloodshot eyes and said softly.

Lu Jingyu didn’t know what came over him, but those two simple words instantly soothed his agitated heart.

"Everyone, fall back! Back to the door!" Xu Qingsui shouted to the others.

The other team members were clearly more worried about the rules and refused to move.

The team member Xu Qingsui was holding tried to pull free, only to find that this guide, famous for her Spiritual Power, possessed a surprisingly strong grip.

"Fall back to the door!" Lu Jingyu had chosen to trust Xu Qingsui after all.

The team members didn’t dare disobey Lu Jingyu’s command and had no choice but to retreat.

In the span of a breath, they were all pressed against the blue door. One more step and they would be doomed beyond redemption.

The giant wave crashed down, and the team finally got a clear look at the mutated Orca Whale.

’It’s over! We’re dead either way!’

"Scatter to the sides! Get as far away as you can!"

Just as some were preparing to fight the Orca Whale to the death, Xu Qingsui spoke again.

As she ran, she used all her strength to shove Lu Jingyu and the other team members to the opposite side.

By this point, the Orca Whale had reached the blue door. Even though it realized its targets had scattered, it couldn’t stop its momentum.

BANG!

With a tremendous crash, the Orca Whale slammed straight into the blue door.

To avoid being caught in the aftermath, Xu Qingsui dove to the ground and used the force to slide away.

When she steadied herself, she saw the Orca Whale’s body slowly disappearing into the blue door.

A wave of post-disaster relief washed over her, and Xu Qingsui’s entire body went limp, collapsing to the ground.

The Golden Octopus piped up again. Hearing its words, Xu Qingsui watched the gradually vanishing Orca Whale, and her heart was moved.

Xu Qingsui stared at the Orca Whale and, after a moment, slowly reached out and touched its skin.

With a sensation of being pulled away, she found herself in a vast, misty sea.

Racing against time, she quickly released her spiritual power and sensed the location of the Orca Whale’s power.

She looked at the giant heart before her, which had stopped beating and was now leaking power. She greedily breathed it in.

Perhaps because the Orca Whale was being eradicated, Xu Qingsui felt that the power she was absorbing was much weaker than that from the blue-ringed octopus.

Just as she was about to leave in disappointment, a stream of blue fluorescent light shot toward her from afar.
