My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 19: Graveyard II

Chapter 19: Graveyard II

Kaiser stopped everyone.

"I have a better idea."

The group turned toward him.

"Hidden class trials usually have multiple difficulty levels."

"The higher the difficulty..."

"The better the rewards."

Everyone nodded.

"So instead of entering immediately..."

"Let’s first level up."

"The maximum level for this dungeon is Level 25."

"If we reach the cap first, we’ll have a much higher chance of clearing the highest difficulty."

"And if we can beat the Nightmare difficulty..."

"The rewards should be the best possible."

Alex thought about it for a few seconds before smiling.

"You’re right."

"No point rushing."

"We only get one first clear."

"Let’s prepare properly."

"I agree," Alicia said.

The others nodded as well.

Kaiser smiled inwardly.

And during that time...

I can get myself a new pet and who knows by increasing my mana I might be able to evolve them to rara rank or possibly higher too.

That should increase our chances of clearing the highest difficulty even further.

With their plan decided, the group entered the dungeon.

Just like its name suggested, the Black Bone Graveyard was a vast cemetery stretching as far as the eye could see.

Broken tombstones, decayed mausoleums, and countless skeletal remains were scattered across the desolate landscape.

From time to time, skeleton warriors clawed their way out of the ground, while groups of undead wandered aimlessly between the graves, attacking anything that entered their territory.

"So, should we split up or stick together?" Alex asked.

"Split up," Kaiser replied without hesitation.

"We’ll level up much faster that way."

"And while we’re at it, let’s clear the four minibosses as well."

Alex nodded.

"Yeah, let’s do that."

He grinned mischievously.

"I actually want to test my talent on one of the minibosses."

"That Half-Vampire looks pretty cool."

"Maybe I can tame it."

Before Kaiser could say anything, Alicia rolled her eyes.

"Were you even paying attention during class?"

"No one can tame a boss-grade monster."

"They’re literally classified as untamable."

Kaiser nodded in agreement.

"She’s right."

Alex simply shrugged.

"A man can dream."

The others couldn’t help but shake their heads.

With that, they split into three separate groups.

Alex teamed up with Mary.

Mary possessed the A-Rank Talent: Super Recovery, a powerful ability that accelerated her Health, Mana, and Stamina regeneration to ten times the normal rate.

Her contracted beast was a Rank 3 Velith Bat, a Darkness-attribute monster known for its high speed and excellent scouting abilities.

Alicia teamed up with Lana.

Lana possessed the A-Rank Talent: Radiance, which allowed her to freely manipulate light for both offense and support.

Her contracted beast was a Rank 4 Aurora-Eyed Swan, a rare Light-attribute monster with exceptional support capabilities.

As for Kaiser...

He simply walked off with Marina faithfully following behind him.

After walking for a while, Kaiser glanced at her.

"What level are you?"

"I’m Level 7, Master," Marina replied.

Kaiser looked at her in surprise.

"Level 7?"

"You defeated all four minibosses and even cleared the hidden class trial."

"How is your level still so low?"

Marina shook her head.

"I didn’t defeat the minibosses myself."

"I simply bought the four bone fragments from the marketplace."

"The hidden class trial itself doesn’t reward any experience."

Kaiser immediately understood.

"I see."

That explained everything.

"Let’s head over there."

He pointed toward a nearby graveyard where several skeletons were wandering aimlessly.

"There aren’t any other Awakened nearby."

"Yes, Master."

The two walked into the graveyard.

The moment the skeletons noticed them, they immediately rushed forward with rusty swords and axes in their hands.

Kaiser calmly raised a finger.

"Light Bullet."

Several glowing bullets shot through the air like streaks of light.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Each Light Bullet pierced straight through a skeleton’s skull.

One after another, the undead collapsed before they could even get close.

Against undead monsters, Light-element attacks dealt double damage.

Combined with Kaiser’s exceptionally high Intelligence, even a basic Light Bullet possessed terrifying killing power.

Ordinary skeletons couldn’t survive even a single hit.

At this point, Kaiser was confident that even the dungeon boss wouldn’t be able to withstand many of his Light Bullets.

The system notifications began appearing one after another.

[Skeleton Warrior defeated.]

[You gained 45 EXP.]

[Skeleton Warrior defeated.]

[You gained 45 EXP.]

Within a few minutes, more than twenty skeletons had been destroyed.

Kaiser continued firing Light Bullets without stopping.

His Mana barely decreased because of his high Intelligence and fast mana recovery.

Marina quietly watched from behind.

"Master, your mana recovery is very high."

Kaiser nodded.

"My Intelligence increases both my Mana and mana recovery speed."

"That lets me keep casting basic spells almost without stopping."

Marina looked impressed.

"Most mages would have run out of mana by now."

Kaiser smiled.

"That’s why Intelligence is my main stat."

Soon, another group of undead emerged from the ground.

This time there were Skeleton Archers mixed with the Skeleton Warriors.

The archers immediately fired bone arrows.

Kaiser calmly sidestepped the arrows before pointing his finger again.

"Light Bullet."

Several bullets flew through the air.

The Skeleton Archers were destroyed before they could fire a second volley.

The remaining Skeleton Warriors were quickly eliminated as well.

A few minutes later, the graveyard became quiet once again.

Only broken bones remained scattered across the ground.

Kaiser walked around collecting the loot.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much.

Out of all the skeletons he had defeated, only three items had dropped.

The first was a Common-grade Rusted Sword.

The second was a Common-grade Bone Bow.

The third item, however, surprised him.

It was a skill book.

Common Skill Book: Bone Arrow Creation

A smile appeared on Kaiser’s face.

I should be able to learn this.

Thanks to my Death Affinity, I meet the elemental requirement.

Not every awakened could learn every skill book.

Most skills required the user to possess the corresponding elemental affinity or fulfill certain conditions before they could be learned.

Without hesitation, Kaiser used the skill book.

The pages dissolved into countless particles of light before flowing into his body.

[You have learned the skill: Bone Arrow Creation.]

Kaiser nodded in satisfaction.

Just then, Marina spoke.

"Master..."

"You’re incredibly lucky."

Kaiser looked at her.

"What do you mean?"

Marina pointed toward the scattered bones around them.

"I defeated over two hundred skeletons when I came here."

"I only got a single Rusted Sword."

She then looked at the items in Kaiser’s inventory.

"You’ve killed fewer than fifty skeletons."

"Yet you’ve already obtained three drops."

"One of them is even a skill book."

"The drop rate of skill books is much lower than Common-grade equipment."

She looked at him with admiration.

Kaiser blinked before smiling.

Hehe...

Looks like my drop rate is much higher than average.

It must be because of the Golden Fate Goblin King bond of mine.
