Chapter 25: Abomination!

"Abomination!" Ren gritted his teeth. "Everyone! Let’s get to battle formation!"

They immediately heeded his command and they all drew their weapons. Ren and the two range Bloodhound brothers were on his side and Rian was also stationed on the front.... Defending Ren just in case.

The Lycan brothers were the ones that have the fastest mobility and they will do the hit and run tactics. The range will fire from a distance and the two Lycans will distract the Abomination. The Druids will attack with tempest magic from the distance and then they will hold the enemy at bay from the range.

It was the plan and they all knew what to do. With the command of Ren, they all acted.

"Fang! Tooth! Distract the Abomination! Make sure you all do not get wounded or hurt!" Ren shouted the command.

"Yes boss!" Fang shouted, "Copy that!" Tooth added.

"Reinold and Red! Attack the faces of the abomination. Their faces will close once we hit those. We should close all its vision." Ren commanded.

Then afterwards, the two Lycan brothers dashed towards the enemy making them slash the abomination on the legs and then dashed in opposite directions. The two Druids cast Blizzard at the enemy and it was slowed down by their ranged spell. Both of them were blowing chilly wind at the enemy and it proved to be effective.

The Rogue and Ranger continued their fires of bows and then Ren commanded them to attack closer to hit the face easier. The two immediately went to fire at the faces and it made the enemy close each one that was hit. Confidence and morale rose up with their tactics being effective. With that, they all went to continue till the HP of the enemy got whittled down.

There were only 3 faces left and then the enemy roared. Blood spewed from its mouth.

They became alerted as to what was happening.

"Commander, what are your orders?" Rian asked.

"Not good. The enemy got into the berserk mode. This is always happening when the damage is too fast and too great in a short amount of time. That the signals of his survival instinct were triggered."

"We need to pull back immediately and then attack in distance! Fang! Tooth! Retreat!" Ren shouted.

"Master, we can take care of this!" Fang shouted.

"Yes! We are faster!" Tooth added.

"No!" Ren then bit his lips and then was alarmed. "These brats, I will scold them later."

The two slashed and attacked then they immediately felt the dread. The enemy was faster and stronger this time. Fang rolled to the right after he evaded the grasp of the abomination. Then the other arm immediately went to grasp him in a split second.

"Ah!!! Help!" Fang shouted.

Then afterwards, Tooth was also grabbed by its other hand. "Help me!" He shouted.

"Rian, join me!" Ren then immediately dashed with his clone that he summoned.

"I will slash the left hand and you do the other hand." Ren commanded.

"Affirmative!" She shouted.

Ren leaped on the air and his clone slashed the right arm, though it was just a shallow wound. Ren also seconded the attack and it cut the hands this time.

Slash! Swing!

But Rian managed to cut it just once of her attack.

Shing!

The abomination then roared as its hands were cut off and then dropped Fang and Tooth. Ren then immediately went to attack with Rian. "Achilles heel, now!" Ren commanded and Rian immediately blasted off to it’s back and then soon attacked in sync and then slashed the back side of the feet.

The enemy then knelt and then it roared at them.

Ren then used his clone to stab the remaining faces of the abomination and it was down.

The chaos was still fresh and they took a breather. Though Ren felt that Rian still held back. In his thoughts, she could cleave the face with just a normal slash.

"Hmm, is that all?" She wondered. Ren felt her flex of her prowess. Ren could only smirk at her. She slashed the hands effortly and him was not able to slash it in a single strike. He also needed the help of his clone to deal the same damage.

And so, the two brothers were scolded. They will have to get a whipping sessions later on Ren. Ren saw the enemy to became ashes and it gave off a red stat crystal. They were sources of Ren’s strength in the past. Red means that it was a strength crystal.

He immediately went to smile as he put it in his bag.

Ren then felt the knowledge of the skill was known by him as information flooded in his mind.

Also, he has 5 stat points at his disposal.

He needed to have fast movement speed and it will be a life-saving stat just in case.

The others also became level 2 and they assigned their skill points and stat points. With that, they became ready.

Ren immediately smacked the two and they will be in harsh training after this. They had to obey orders or else, Ren would punish them severely.

He grabbed their ears and pulled the hair above it. They all went to say ouch while stammering. "When I say fall back, you fall back!" Ren yelled this time.

"Understood boss!" Tooth almost said his prayers.

"We are sorry...." Fang was nearly weeping.

"Luckily you are alive this time. There will be no second chances!" Ren scolded them.

"Yes Commander!" They bowed and kowtowed several times. "We are sorry!"

The Druid brothers all chuckled at them. They were soon forgiven. "Stand up! We still have to hunt prey!"

But that made Ren to halt after he saw the nearby houses huddled together. It looked like a village just up ahead. It was seen after the abomination was dead and then they saw that its tracks lead to a road, which were they didn’t noticed after they battled.

"A village?" Ren muttered.
