Evelyne remained silent as she looked at her hands.

Pale green light appeared around her fingers. This time, the glow was much brighter than before.

Cain noticed a shallow cut across the back of his left hand. It had probably come from one of his fights that he had before.

Evelyne immediately grabbed his wrist.

"What are you doing?"

"Testing it."

She placed her glowing fingers over the cut, the green light entered his skin.

Cain felt a cool sensation as the wound closed visibly.

Within several seconds, only a thin red line remained.

Evelyne’s eyes lit up.

"It worked."

"Of course it worked."

"It became so much stronger."

She inspected Cain’s hand again. Her old Skill would have required far more Mana to achieve the same effect.

Even then, it might not have closed the wound completely.

Restorative Light accomplished it easily.

Evelyne released his wrist, a wide smile appeared on her face.

Cain had never seen her look so genuinely happy.

She stepped forward and threw both arms around him.

Cain’s body stiffened when he felt Evelyne pressed herself firmly against his chest, her huge breasts compressed beneath the blouse.

He wrapped one arm around her waist and enjoyed the embrace.

"You really did it," Evelyne murmured.

The soft tone of her voice surprised him.

Cain lowered his head slightly and unfortunately, his little brother reacted again.

Her eyes narrowed.

"That’s a natural reaction." Cain smiled without shame.

"Why are you always horny?"

"Whose fault is it for having a body like that?"

Evelyne broke free as she snorted. "You make it sound like my body is the problem!"

Before he lost his mind, Cain turned toward the stairwell.

"We’re leaving."

Evelyne’s mood had completely changed.

Evelyne stepped around a crack in the pavement and hurried ahead.

She turned back toward Cain with a bright smile.

"My Mana consumption is much lower."

Cain nodded, "That’s one of the Talent’s effects."

"I think I can sense injuries too."

Evelyne touched her knee.

"There’s still a small bruise here."

She circulated Restorative Light, then the small bruise disappeared.

Evelyne laughed softly.

She walked ahead again, her movements almost playful.

Cain watched her jump over a fallen bicycle.

She looked far younger whenever she stopped maintaining her usual arrogant expression.

Her happiness was understandable as only an hour ago, Evelyne must have felt inferior and useless because of her D-rank Talent.

Doctor Owen’s S-rank Healing Talent had made the difference painfully obvious.

Now, she had a C-rank Talent and a stronger Skill.

The System notifications Cain had been waiting for finally appeared.
