Chapter 13: Dressing Room Shenanigans
Chapter 13: Dressing Room Shenanigans
The attendant guided the twins toward the changing rooms at the back of the shop, a curtained alcove partitioned by panels of rosewood and silk.
Hua Jia clutched her pale green robe like a lifeline, still shooting Kian wary glances over her shoulder, though she was clearly feeling grateful. Meanwhile, Hua Mia walked with a newfound lightness in her step.
Kian leaned against a pillar near the entrance, arms crossed.
The clerk hovered nearby, probably calculating her commission in real time.
A few minutes passed. The rustle of fabric and hushed murmurs drifted from behind the curtain—Hua Jia’s indignant protests, Hua Mia’s soft laughter.
Then the murmuring stopped, and a moment later, Hua Mia’s voice cut through the shop’s ambient chatter.
"Kian, could you come here for a moment? I need help with the clasp."
Kian pushed off the pillar without a word, ignoring the clerk’s raised eyebrow as he strode past her and parted the curtain. The dressing room was small, barely enough space for the three of them, but only two figures stood inside—Hua Jia had already squeezed past him, fleeing the alcove with a whispered "I’ll just wait outside."
The curtain fell shut behind her, leaving Kian alone with Hua Mia, who stood with her back to him. The Moonpetal robe hung loose around her shoulders, the ties undone.
She didn’t turn around. Her fingers fumbled at the nape of her neck, where a silver clasp refused to catch.
"The clasp," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I can’t reach it."
Kian stepped closer, his chest brushing against her back as his hands wrapped around her waist. His qi fingers found the clasp, but instead of fastening it, he let them trail down the exposed curve of her shoulder, pushing the robe aside until it slipped, pooling at her elbows.
She inhaled sharply, her body tensing, but she didn’t pull away. He turned her around slowly, his hand sliding from her shoulder to her chin, tilting her face up to meet his gaze.
Her eyes were clear, her lips parted, and she didn’t speak.
She just rose on her toes and pressed her mouth to his.
The kiss was immediate and consuming. There was no words, no hesitation, just the wet slide of lips and tongue as her hands fisted in his inner robe, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them.
His palm splayed across her lower back, pressing her against him, and she let out a soft sound against his mouth, her fingers tangling in his hair.
The world outside the curtain dissolved—the clerk’s perfunctory chatter, Hua Jia’s muffled complaints, the clink of spirit stones—all of it swallowed by the heat of their mouths moving together in silence.
She bit his lower lip, just once, then soothed it with her tongue, a silent language that needed no translation.
When they finally broke apart, both breathing hard, she pressed her forehead to his, her eyes still closed.
A single shaky exhale escaped her lips before she pulled back, straightened the fallen robe with deliberate calm, and turned to look at him.
He watched her in fascination.
She smoothed the silk over her hips, adjusted her hair, and met his gaze with a quiet, satisfied smile.
"How do I look?"
"Beautiful. Almost like a statue."
Hua Mia’s smile deepened at the compliment, a blush of happiness coloring her cheeks as she ran her fingers along the smooth fabric of the Moonpetal robe. "You’re not so bad yourself, you know. That indigo one will make all the female disciples stare."
"I see. Help me wear it then."
Kian stepped back and let the deep indigo robe slide into her hands. She moved close, her fingers brushing his shoulders as she removed his current clothes. Then, she draped the new fabric over him, smoothing it down his chest with deliberate care.
Her hands lingered at his collar, adjusting the folds, then flattened against his pectorals, her thumbs tracing the line of his collarbone through the silk.
"There," she said, her voice soft, "now you look like a cultivator who actually belongs here."
Her hands didn’t leave his chest, her eyes meeting his with that quiet, knowing smile. "Though I still think you’re a shameless pervert."
"Can you do something for me?" Kian asked, gulping.
She blinked. "What?"
"Can I get a... you know?" he said, his voice low and steady.
Hua Mia’s eyes widened, her hands still pressed against his chest. She glanced toward the curtain, where her sister’s muffled complaints and the clerk’s polite chatter drifted through the fabric.
"Here?" she whispered. "Someone could walk in."
"That’s what makes it fun," Kian said, his fingers threading through her long hair, gently guiding her down.
She hesitated for a heartbeat, her breath hitching as she looked up at him through her lashes. He pressed his forehead against hers. "Would you?"
Hua Mia’s lips parted, her breath warm against his skin as she held his gaze for a long, charged moment.
Then she let out a quiet pout.
"Only this once," she murmured, her voice barely audible.
They both glanced at each other.
"What do I do?" she asked.
"Get on your knees."
Kian gulped as she lowered herself to her knees, the Moonpetal robe pooling around her on the polished wooden floor. Her face was inches away from his waist.
"Undo my clothes."
Her fingers found the waistband of his silk pants, hesitating for just a second before she tugged them down, her eyes never leaving his.
He was already hard, standing proudly against her face.
"Sh..Should I swallow it?"
"Upto you."
Her breath ghosted over his length before her lips parted, and the first touch of her tongue was tentative—a soft, experimental stroke along the underside that made his fingers tighten in her hair.
"Hmm. You taste a bit salty, it’s nice. Does this feel good?"
"Very."
She took him into her mouth slowly, inch by inch, her eyes fluttering closed as she adjusted to the taste and weight of him on her tongue.
The warmth of her mouth wrapped around him sent a shiver up his spine, and he let out a low groan that seemed to encourage her.
Her hands braced against his thighs as she began to move, her head bobbing in a rhythm that started cautious but grew bolder with each pass, her tongue tracing the sensitive ridge before she pulled back to lap at the tip with deliberate slowness.
Kian’s head fell back, his breath coming in uneven gasps as she found her pace, her hands sliding from his thighs to cup him, her fingers exploring with a curiosity that was half innocence and half hunger.
She pulled off with a wet pop, meeting his gaze with glassy eyes, a thin string of saliva connecting her lower lip to the tip of his cock.
"Am I doing it right?" she whispered, her voice husky, and he could only nod, his grip on her hair tightening as he guided her mouth back down.
She took him deeper this time, her throat relaxing as she swallowed around him, and the sudden tightness drew a sharp hiss from between his teeth.
Her hand wrapped around the base, stroking in rhythm with her mouth as she found a rhythm that had his hips bucking involuntarily.
The wet sounds of her work filled the small alcove, mixing with the soft rustle of silk and her occasional muffled hums of approval.
She pulled back to breathe, her lips shiny and slick, before diving back in with renewed fervor, her tongue swirling around the head before she took him fully again, her nose brushing against his pubic bone.
Her fingers dug into his thighs as she held him there, her throat working around him, and he felt the heat building low in his belly, his breathing ragged.
"Mia, I’m close," he warned, his voice strained, but she only hummed in response, the vibration sending jolts of pleasure through him.
She doubled her efforts, her hand pumping the base faster as her mouth focused on the sensitive tip, her tongue flicking against the slit.
That was it.
He gasped her name as he came, his release spilling into her mouth in hot pulses, and she swallowed without hesitation. She did not want to spoil her new clothes, nor did she want it to spill everywhere.
She held him there until he softened, then pulled away slowly, licking her lips clean with a satisfied smile that made his knees weak. "You came a lot," she said.
He breathed in and out, leaning back against the wall.
She rose to her feet, smoothing down her Moonpetal robe as if nothing had happened, her cheeks flushed but her composure restored.
"Now help me with that clasp," she said, turning her back to him with a teasing glance over her shoulder, her voice light and perfect, as if she hadn’t just knelt before him like a devoted worshipper.
Kian’s fingers were still trembling as he reached for the silver clasp, his mind reeling at the sight of her—his woman, standing there in that expensive robe.
He helped her clasp her robe.
