Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)
Chapter 11: The Game Is On (2)

Chapter 11: The Game Is On (2)

So it was game on.

Angel refusing to let go of the fantasy of me wanting her dick, and me getting tired of her annoyance.

She thought she could just breeze through life using her dominant Alpha status to scare me into compliance, but she had absolutely no idea who she was dealing with this time. I was completely done being the quiet, submissive stepsister who just took the hits and ran away to hide in the library.

This was worse than our four years of constant bickering... bullying.

I spent all afternoon, during my free time in the library, making a to-do list, or bucket list... whatever it is called.

The back office was completely silent as I ignored the stack of unsorted historical fiction, focusing entirely on a blank, spiral-bound notebook I had snatched from the supply closet.

It was like a date tree.

Each branch was a specific level of interaction, a carefully constructed trap designed to force her to spend hours looking at my face without any of the physical stuff she was craving.

Angel wanted me to feel affection for her so I could...

I am not even going to say it.

I shook my head quickly, forcing the disgusting thought out of my mind as I glued a picture of a candlelit table onto the third page of the project.

It was like a scrapbook, personally designed by me.

I used bright colored markers to outline the margins, making sure the text was short, blunt, and completely impossible to misinterpret.

I made it more pictures than words so it wouldn’t be boring for her.

Knowing her complete lack of an attention span, a massive wall of text would have just ended up in the kitchen trash can before she even reached the second page.

Even someone with ADHD would easily be pulled into reading it without getting distracted.

Angel wasn’t home when I got back, so before going to work the next morning, I knocked on her door.

She opened it, and I handed her the book.

I told her that if she did everything in it from start to finish, who knew what might happen?

I kept my voice as flat and mysterious as possible, adjusting my glasses with a sharp flick of my finger to hide the trembling in my hand.

"Does this guarantee me what I want?" Angel asked, looking at the book.

She gripped the cardboard cover, her eyebrows pulling together in a line of pure confusion as she weighed the notebook in her hand.

She opened it.

"So many pictures..."

Her husky voice dropped an octave, her crimson eyes scanning the visual layout with a surprising amount of focus as she stood in the doorway.

"Yes, less words. Just do whatever the pictures show you," I said.

I crossed my arms over my chest, leaning my weight onto one foot to look as relaxed and confident as a seasoned player.

"Date, movie night, cooking together, holding hands, picnic date... vacation date..." she read out loud, then her face changed. "No touching, no kissing... but holding hands is touching."

She stopped on the third page, her thumb pressing hard against a picture of two interlocking hands, her lips twisting into a sharp scowl.

"Yes, that is the only touching we will do. Nothing more than that," I said.

I didn’t back down an inch, keeping my gaze locked straight onto her dark red pupils to show her that the rules were completely set in stone.

"What are you, some Disney princess?" she muttered, then continued. "No sex until the end of the road."

She rolled her eyes toward the ceiling, a short, mocking laugh escaping her nose as she flipped toward the final page of the booklet.

"Yes. No sex until you do every single thing in the book."

"So you want me to do all this, and by the end of it you won’t give me what I want?" she said.

She stepped closer to the threshold, her massive Alpha presence drifting over me, thick with suspicion as she tried to catch my gaze.

"So, you are backing out, right?"

I forced a small, teasing smile onto my lips, knowing exactly how much her massive ego hated the idea of losing a challenge.

"Why should I back out? This is too childish."

"Well, if you want me to crave your... dragon ball, you have to do all those things," I said.

Angel paused.

She looked at me like she was trying to read me, but I happened to be a difficult book to read.

I kept my face completely blank, a perfect null mask that gave away absolutely none of the panic swirling around in my stomach.

Obviously, by the end of the road there wouldn’t be any sexual activity.

The whole plan was a massive trap, a psychological maze designed to break her down before she ever got close to my bedroom door.

But her admitting she had fallen in love with me.

That was the real prize, the ultimate victory that would completely crush her pride and make her look like an absolute fool.

This is my game, and I’m definitely going to win.

"Alright then. I will play your fantasy game, do every single thing in the book, and then I get my reward. Prepare yourself because you are going to be banged by me within seven days."

Huh..

"Wait, what? You don’t have to do all this within seven days. Take your time... one week at a time."

The sudden timeline hit me like a slap to the face, my hands dropping to my sides as my mind raced through the absolute disaster of her words.

"Hell no. You told me what you want, and I am going to deliver it according to my own schedule... Goodnight."

She didn’t even wait for a response, her eyes flashing with a wicked amusement that made my blood run cold.

Thud..

She slammed the door, leaving me stunned.

I should have included a time limit in the book.

My fingers dug into my temple, a sudden, sharp headache building up behind my eyes as the massive flaw in my strategy became painfully clear.

How stupid of me.

I had given a literal predator a map and allowed her to choose the speed of the chase, completely forgetting how reckless she could be when she wanted something.

How am I going to make her fall in love with me within seven days?

The task felt entirely impossible, a giant mountain that I had no way of climbing in such a ridiculously short amount of time.

We had hated each other’s guts for four years, and seven days wasn’t going to change all of that.

And also, this is morning time.

Why say goodnight?

I grumbled to myself on my way to work.

Later that evening, it was time to go home.

I hadn’t even signed out when Katie told me that the badgirl Alpha was around.

My coworker ran into the staff room, her eyes wide with a frantic excitement as she grabbed my elbow and pulled me toward the front desk.

Angel wasn’t wearing her usual casual clothes but a tuxedo.

She was standing right by the main display case, her towering frame cutting a sharp, dark silhouette against the interior.

When I saw her, I didn’t see the stepsister who always shoved me aside whenever I tried to communicate with her.

The raw, chaotic energy she usually carried around was completely suppressed, replaced by a smooth, polished elegance that felt entirely alien to me.

Her tattoos were covered by the fitted suit.

The black fabric wrapped tightly around her arms and chest, hiding every single line of the ink that usually screamed danger to anyone who looked at her.

Her hair was let down, making her look more feminine than usual.

She looked stunning.... Just like her mother.

I was so lost in her appearance that she snapped her fingers in front of me.

A sharp, clicking sound broke through my daze, a pair of manicured fingers hovering right over the bridge of my glasses.

I was forced to realize that the girl standing right in front of me was my stepsister and not some walk-in patron.

I took a quick step back, my cheeks flushing a furious red as I realized I had been openly gaping at her like an idiot for a full minute.

I composed myself, adjusted my skirt, then looked at her properly.

"What are you doing here?" I whispered to her.

I kept my voice low, my eyes darting toward Katie, who was still staring at us from behind the return desk with her mouth completely open.

"Number one is taking you out on a date, so I’m here to pick you up," she said.

Her husky voice carried that familiar, lazy confidence, a small, knowing smirk playing at the corners of her lips as she adjusted her cuffs.

As she spoke, I noticed the people around us.

Several university students at the study tables were whispering to each other, their eyes tracking the sharp lines of her tuxedo with pure admiration.

They were admiring her beauty.

They thought she was some high-class romantic hero who had walked straight out of a movie to sweep a quiet librarian off her feet.

Only if they knew that behind that beauty was a devil beneath..

And it was very ugly.
