Why Are the Psychos Obsessed with a Mere NPC?
Chapter 39: F7 Angered to Tears

Chapter 39: Chapter 39: F7 Angered to Tears

The atmosphere was intimate, and Xi Yu’s gaze was direct and raw.

He gave Xu Jianjuan a single glance as he took the hem of her dress, but after that, it was as if no one else existed.

’Putting on a show.’

Perhaps because the others hadn’t returned yet, the task of playing the good cop in this life had unexpectedly fallen to Xi Yu, the person least likely to ever be pleasant to anyone.

’He even said thank you to her?’

It wasn’t that Xu Jianjuan had never seen Xi Yu and his group acting suave and charming, but hearing the word "baby" still made her skin crawl.

"I’ll get going, then?" Jian Yu watched for a while, realizing all of the heroine’s hostility was directed at Xi Yu.

She was relieved.

’Good, as long as it’s not directed at me.’

"Mm," Xu Jianjuan nodded, trying her best to relax. "Contact me if you need anything."

"Okay." Jian Yu’s eyes curved into a smile.

The other party had taken the initiative to show goodwill, so she wouldn’t be foolish enough to push her away and make an enemy.

Although she wasn’t reborn, she knew that later in the plot, the heroine’s methods were far from simple.

If the heroine truly wanted to deal with someone, she generally wouldn’t leave them any leeway and tended to be very forceful and decisive.

Hesitating, wavering again and again, repeatedly backing down.

One could only say that it wasn’t because she was particularly clever or her rejections particularly brilliant. Rather, the heroine had already lost to her from the very beginning.

Jian Yu rested her hand on Xi Yu’s shoulder, tilting her head to lean against him.

’She quietly stared at Xu Jianjuan’s retreating back. Wow, the heroine’s body is amazing.’

"Baby, are you tired?" Xi Yu swept her up into his arms.

Seeing her listlessness, he lost interest in staking his claim.

They moved in a flash, and everything around them blurred into afterimages.

’Jian Yu blinked. Can octopuses move this fast?’

She looked up, her wide eyes like two black grapes.

Her cheeks were soft, her eyelashes were long, and the redness at the corners of her eyes hadn’t completely faded yet.

"Baby, you’re so cute." Xi Yu couldn’t suppress his desire.

He wrapped an arm around her waist, cupped the back of her head, and lowered his own to kiss her.

"There are people around." Not wanting to make a scene, Jian Yu gathered her strength and pushed him away, her face impassive.

She glanced nervously to the side.

The afterimages were a blur, making it impossible to distinguish people from objects.

Xi Yu had lost count of how many times she’d pushed him away.

He felt like he’d been constantly rejected ever since they met.

A surge of hostility erupted from him. His tentacles seized both of Jian Yu’s hands and pinned them above her head.

A sense of restraint came from her wrists as her strength drained away, her entire body seemingly trapped in his arms.

Jian Yu’s pupils trembled slightly.

She struggled twice but couldn’t break free, and she looked up in a daze.

"Let go first," Jian Yu whispered, trying to reason with him. "Let’s just go back."

’She was into this kind of thing, but did they have to put on a show for others?’

"Is being with me so shameful that we can’t be seen in public?" Xi Yu’s face darkened, his sharp eyes locked onto hers.

"No, it’s just..." Jian Yu looked at him innocently, finding it hard to explain.

’She was never good with words.’

Fortunately, her current persona was that of a little beauty being forced against her will, so she didn’t need to explain much.

’When she realized they had returned to the villa, where she could finally let go, Jian Yu became even bolder.’

She pressed her lips together, silent, and simply glared at him angrily.

"Baby’s become naughty," Xi Yu said, his voice low and husky.

"I shouldn’t have let Baby be away for so long."

His finger traced the corner of Jian Yu’s lips, then gently pried them open.

His finger slipped inside unexpectedly.

"You... Mmph..."

Her limbs went weak, and Jian Yu found that even after her hands were freed from their restraint, she couldn’t lift them.

Even the simple act of clenching her fingers felt strenuous.

Her body fell onto the bed. She was conscious, but she had no strength.

"No matter what, you’re always unwilling. So why should I hold back?"

Xi Yu stood before the bed, silhouetted against the moonlight, the light in his eyes flickering.

The bedroom light turned on. He knelt on the edge of the bed with one leg and unhurriedly undid the top few buttons of his shirt.

He leaned down. "Baby, you’re so beautiful. I adore you."

Jian Yu’s cheeks burned, and her heart began to race.

She subconsciously turned her head away.

His aim was off, and Xi Yu only managed to kiss the left side of her chin.

He raised his hand, carefully held her neck, and lowered his head to lick and kiss her.

Looking at Jian Yu’s dazed and innocent eyes, feeling the warmth and delicateness of the skin beneath his hand, Xi Yu gradually lost himself.

"Don’t push me away, okay?" His eyes were hazy as he licked Jian Yu’s lips again and again.

’His shoulders were broad, and though his body looked lean, she only realized how well-built he was once she was pressed against him.’

Jian Yu felt a flush of heat under his intense gaze.

’Push him away? She was dying to get her hands on him and help him take his clothes off.’

’Huh? Her hands could actually move again?’

Her hands, which she had accidentally lifted, fell limply once more.

Jian Yu’s acting was flawless, without a trace of hesitation.

’Even if God himself showed up, she wouldn’t be able to move.’

’F7’s legs are so long, his waist is so narrow, and his lips are so pink. He looks so kissable.’

Faced with such male beauty, Jian Yu chose to squint her eyes in appreciation and just lie back and enjoy it.

Xi Yu probably didn’t know that while he looked fierce on the surface, his eyes were actually filled with grievance.

"The outfit you’re wearing today is so beautiful, Baby."

"Baby, you’re crying."

"Baby, the way you cry... is so provocative."

’Hearing the word "provocative," Jian Yu froze. Had he seen through her?’

The intense intimacy left her no time to think.

Soon, she was lost in it again.

"Baby, I really want to lock you up," Xi Yu said, his eyes crinkling into a smile.

Jian Yu’s body betrayed her; her lips were parted as she panted softly.

She couldn’t stop crying. Her eyes were red-rimmed, and her wet eyelashes clumped together, making her look inexplicably pitiful.

When Ling Yanzhi came in and saw this scene, his brows furrowed tightly.

"It’s late at night, why do you have her wearing this outfit?"

He glanced at the time. "It’ll be ten o’clock in two hours. Has she bathed?"

"Not yet." Xi Yu’s palm gently stroked her chest. "Baby smells nice. She smells nice even without a bath."

"I think it would be better to wash up," Jian Yu said.

"Ling Yanzhi." Jian Yu turned her head, tears shimmering in her eyes, her voice timid.

Xi Yu narrowed his eyes, pinching her chin. "You think he’ll come help you just because you called his name?"

His hand was slapped away.

Ling Yanzhi grabbed his shoulder. "Move it. It’s my turn."

Xi Yu chuckled softly and got up to make way.

He watched as Ling Yanzhi gathered her into his arms and gently soothed her.

He whispered to her with such incredible gentleness.

"Don’t cry, Baby."

"How about I take you for a bath, Baby?"

"He’s been spoiled by the Alliance; he doesn’t know his own strength. Let’s you and I ignore him for a whole week."

Jian Yu’s eyelashes trembled. Her eyes were downcast, teardrops still clinging to her lashes.

She hadn’t broken character yet.

Hearing his words, she looked up with a dazed expression.

Nearby, Xi Yu’s face was dark.

’She glanced at him, not knowing what to say. She couldn’t very well say she loved it, that she was dying for more, and ask for another round, could she?’

Remembering that she hadn’t seen Ling Yanzhi for a while, she changed the subject. "Where did you go?"

Ling Yanzhi wasn’t the type to do a good deed without taking credit for it.

His eyes curved into a smile. "I went to get revenge for Baby."

Jian Yu’s mind spun for a moment, and recalling what the heroine had said, she asked, "Xu Shaoqing?"

"So smart, Baby." Ling Yanzhi stroked her hair, lifted her from the large bed, and carried her toward the bathroom.

Xi Yu stood there sullenly, his fists clenched so tightly they creaked.

The bathroom was spacious, and their voices echoed slightly.

"What scent does Baby like?"

"The white tea-scented one."

"Okay, I’ll get it for Baby."

He didn’t want to hear any more.

Xi Yu turned and left, a large tear splashing onto the floor.

He had been angered to the point of tears.

’He’d put on such a grand, imposing show, and for what? It was nothing compared to that insidious schemer who had just returned!’
