Sai licked her lips without thinking, her mind wandering.

Neo nodded.

Sai told them, "We have reached the Nyx tribe."

Neo stepped forward, showing his necklace, and approached the guard.

The guard raised his spear right away, alarmed by Neo’s huge, muscled frame.

"I am from the Stormfang tribe," Neo declared.

"I’ve come because I’ve heard about your plan to attack my tribe. Bring me your strongest warrior. We will fight. The loser must stop the war and give the winner a year’s worth of food."

The guard listened, then rushed inside to inform the elders.

The message eventually reached the priestess’s castle.

Inside the castle, the guard told her about the challenger wearing the salamander necklace.
