The view made them felt nostalgic. This world still has this types of environment existing in an abomination infested world. They could see that this was a village of humans after all.

They were amazed and were excited to see the residents but they felt something was amiss. They all went to see if someone was there but it was deathly silence that greeted them. The windows of houses were creaking and then they felt the winds howling on the background was what responded.

Their expectations were all the same, they thought villagers were just living here in silence but they were greeted with nothing.

Though Fang and Tooth smelled decay wafting in the very air they breathe. With an alarming scent, they immediately knew that something were wrong.

The strike team then saw abominations within the houses, peeking on the windows. They immediately felt their hairs to rise from their skins. Some even made them draw their blades after they saw their creepy smile.

Ren immediately went to shout, "We need to retreat!"

Ren immediately called the shots and they retreated. Luckily, the abominations were not chasing after them. Ren was on the edge even after their retreat. He wouldn’t forgive himself if something happened in their team.

With that, they still has to hunt for food. And their rations were dwindling down into their stomachs.

They has to find a prey or their territory will go on hunger tonight.

With that, they will have track animals again. It meant that they will have a longer time to hunt again.

The group moved fast and steady as they will go in a hunt. The Lycan brothers were like hounds smelling the scent in the air. Ren then went to track animal footprints. He saw the hoof of the animal on the ground and then identified it.

"Hmm, a buck that weights heavy. The foot has sunken into the ground deep. And, its fresh." Ren muttered.

The two Bloodhounds now knew why Arthur made Ren to be their leader. He has far more experience among his peers.

They immediately went to track it and then arrived on a river. The forest terrain was flat and had numerous rotten fallen timbers. They could see that this place was a past logging area. It was abandoned for a reason.

They all went to scan the place and got tools for logging. "This place could become an outpost for logging tents!" Druin suggested.

"Yep, we could claim the area and send someone here." Ren replied.

Immediately, they all went to the river and saw that there was a hut. It had nets there laid on the river.

"A fishing hut?" Ren then realised what this place was. "This could give us stable supply of food!" Ren mesmerized and then planned to send a worker here.

They immediately went to harvest the nets and got salmons. It was their season and then they would have food for the meantime.

They immediately saw the buck nearby drinking on the riverside. The Bloodhound brothers immediately drew their knocked their arrows and drews their bows.

Whoosh!

They fired the arrow and then it struck the buck on the lower chest and the waist.

The buck tried to run but soon crashed on the ground. The team immediately went to became happy and then they will be having soup tonight.

They immediately went to tie it and they all went home into their castle....

They arrived at the castle and then the defense team were already on guard. They were immediately notified of their arrival and they rejoiced. They have food to cook for tonight.

Arthur then put the food on the table and their cook were amazed.

"Wow, you got all these?" He asked, surprised.

"Yes!" Ren said to him.

Arthur then arrived and gave them a thumbs up. Ren then told him of. A potential Logging area and a fishing hut that will deliver a steady supply of food per day!

Arthur was surprised and agreed that it would be beneficial for the realm. It was indeed a bountiful exploration for Ren’s team and so they needed rest.

Also, Arthur assigned the Necromancer and Warlock kids to be in their team. They would level up and become stronger in that case.

And so, Ren was happy. He joyfully welcomed the two into his team. They all were having strong class and would have a higher overall team strength for their current team.

As for the updates, the two would be their added Damage dealer and would be also vanguards in case. Ren will become the Guardian of their team as an overall overseer. They have more firepower now.

Then immediately, the two arrived and they all huddled in their group. They wore robes and didn’t even have staffs for their weapons. But Ren planned that they will be added into their training formations. The Necromancer kid and Warlock were shy types. They were silent while they sat by the fire.

They immediately cooked the food and then they grilled the salmon while the deer meat became a stew.

They also have enough salt for now but would not last for a year. It will be a bland food for the rest months until they could go back in this one year survival.

Ren then stood up and gathered his team. They welcomed the two into their team.

"Everyone! This is Rolan and Rowan Darksage. They will be included into our strike team and will be your comrades from now on. Be nice to them and make them comfortable into our team." Ren spoke and then he patted the backs of the two.

"Please take care of us!" Rolan said then bowed slightly. Rowan followed him and bowed too.

They then all went to seat by the fire afterwards and talked with the two.

As Ren talked to them, they were both from a harsh and a strict family. They were all trained since young till their awakening. The two were brothers from a concubine and the main wife of their father was barren. Making the two to become their representative for the Eleventh Dark World exploration. They didn’t care if they will die or not in this world too just like Ren’s Bloodhound family.

Ren could relate to their story and then comforted them.

"I swore that no one will die in our team. That all of us will go home in one year!" Ren promised them.

"Thanks Master!" They then bowed.
