Chapter 5: Offer and Counter Offer

After eating the noodles until their stomachs were filled, Kian paid the noodle woman with satisfaction.

Then, he bowed slightly. "Senior, sorry for this junior’s earlier rudeness. I should have shown my respect."

He said the words quietly so that others wouldn’t hear him.

The woman shook her hand. "Don’t mind it, I just got curious because your cultivation is pretty high for a normal disciple. You don’t look that old either. So, I thought I might as well introduce myself."

"Makes sense, Senior, I am Kian. You are?"

"I am a 7th Stage Qi Builder, also a Core Disciple of the sect. And I am acting as a noodle seller for the next few months. After it is done, I will do a mass recruitment for my new startup, you better come to meet me then."

"Yes, senior!"

"Okay, then. You may go."

"Wait, senior, I have a question."

"What is it?"

"You noticed my cultivation easily, right? Can everyone notice it?"

"Yeah, for a person beyond 4th Stage of Qi Building, it is easy to read your cultivation."

"I see, is there any method to hide it?"

"Yes, just store your Qi in your Juhuan Meridian. Then, only people above the 9th sstage of Qi Building can see through you."

"Thank you senior, for your guidance."

"Get out, don’t blow my cover."

With new ideas, Kian immediately left the noodle shop with the twins. They took him to their house, which was now his house. It was indeed a beautiful place.

It had fairly large rooms and it was pretty well furnished. Not to mention that it had a great view of the river.

More than anything though, since the house belonged to two girls—everything inside looked super girly.

Feeling satisfied, Kian went over the details with the twins then left to bring his servant girl into the room. Since the house had four rooms, everyone would get a room. That made things much more comfortable.

By the time he moved everything important to his new room, it was already sunset.

Finally, the twins and Jiao Yin met each other.

The first thoughts that went through the twins’ heads was definitely weird.

They looked at each other, blinking.

Jiao Yin introduced herself: "Hello, I am a mortal. I just met Immortal Kian the day before and he brought me here to work as his servant. I was told we’d be living with you, I look forward to it!"

They nodded, not saying much.

Awkward, Jiao Yin looked at the food that the Hua sisters had prepared. They had been busy in the kitchen doing exactly that all this time. No wonder she didn’t see them while they were moving things.

But Hua Jia said: "You shouldn’t call Kian an immortal you know? That’s a name reserved for cultivators. And he is not yet a cultivator, if I am right. Calling him that would offend real cultivators."

Hua Mia nodded. "That’s right, it is wise not to do that."

"Eh?" Jiao Yin said. "How can he not be an immortal?"

She had seen him lift an entire table with one hand earlier when they were moving. How could he not be an immortal?

Kian took his hand and placed it on the table with the food. He tapped his finger against the table, causing it to quiver.

"I don’t think it’s a big problem calling me that, is it?" he asked with a grin. "I might not be strong, but I am not weak either."

A small indentation appeared on the table.

The twins gawked.

Hua Jia gulped. "Senior Kian, you were a cultivator? What stage are you?"

Hua Mia’s face was also full of shock.

"Well, I’ll keep the stage to myself. I don’t like revealing my cultivation too much, so keep your mouths shut as well."

They nodded like birds pecking rice.

Kian squinted.

’What do I need to do to steal them?’

He ate as he pondered.

What did it mean to steal a person from someone else? What was the best metric to understand it?

Soon, Kian had a clear idea.

’If me and Hua Shulong are both in a life or death situation, and they could only save one person, who would they save?’

Currently, it was clearly going to be Hua Shulong. No matter what, he was their brother.

Then the answer was simple.

He just had to make his own image more important in the hearts of these two beauties.

"Actually," he said while eating. "I couldn’t help but notice something about you two."

He took a small chicken piece.

Since he was splurging anyway, Kian had brought some good food.

Now, he was nearly a man of empty wallet.

"You guys seem quite restless and worried about this entire co-living circumstance. That seems even more the case now that you know I am a cultivator."

Hua Mia smiled wryly. "Can you blame us for it, Sir Kian? You could do anything to us right now, and we won’t even be able to resist. That’s pretty scary."

Hua Jia nodded. "But he is not a pervert, right?"

She was clearly nervous.

Kian chuckled. "That’s what I am talking about. Don’t be worried. To be really honest with you, I am indeed attracted to you two."

The girls both immediately fell silent.

"Now, now, I know that would only make you more nervous. But don’t worry, I am just attracted not hungry."

They were extremely nervous now.

Kian smiled slightly and said: "I will promise you two that I won’t touch either of you. And in fact, I am willing to help you two become cultivators as well. With my help and resources, I am sure it won’t be impossible."

"Why would you help us?"

"Because helping you would help me down the line."

Why? Because he had a system.

Of course, Kian would not say that.

"How can helping us help you?" Hua Mia asked, squinting. "We... don’t want to serve a man."

"Being kind helps, you know? I am sure it will help me somehow."

They looked at each other, and Hua Mia sighed.

"In a world where brothers abandon their sisters, you are really a role model," she said, her face heavy. "In fact, if you want to, I don’t actually mind serving you. As long as you stay away from my sister, I don’t mind sacrificing myself for your help for a few months."

Hua Jia exclaimed: "Sis!"

"You shut up," Hua Mia said, sighing. "I am of marrying age anyway."

Kian looked at Mia with amusement.

He moved closer to her and raised his hand towards her face.

She tensed.

He took a small rice stuck to her lips.

"Haha, nice offer," he said. "But that’s boring. From now on, you two are mine and no one will dare to bully you. In return, just throw yourself at me when you feel you are ready. Until then, I’ll support you for free. Consider me like your new brother."

Actually, that was an invitation as well.

Hua Mia, if you are ready, come to my room tonight.

Every girl in the room had a single thought.

How shameless!

He did not refuse the helpless offer, but actually gave them an offer back.

But honestly, it was not a bad offer at all.

After all, all considered, Kian was a good prospect of a man.

He was probably not that bad compared to their brother in talent.

Kian knew that he could be more subtle. Show off his own good qualities and woo them silently until they were ready to open themselves up for him. But that was not his style, though he was sure he could do it as well.

Instead, he preferred to be straightforward when he could be.

After all, once he has slept with them, wouldn’t their relationship become much deeper at a much faster speed?

It was not so complex.
