Tera immediately stood straight and stopped short at the look in Ermin’s eyes. He looked confused, but beneath that emotion was anger.

Why was he angry when she had just apologised to him? She had bent like a pretzel in front of everyone, whether she had pride or not, and had delivered a very sincere apology.

’Just tell me why the fuck his favourability dropped?!’

Was it because she didn’t grovel?!

She should have known he was a sadist after that dominant display earlier.

Around them, the clan members had started murmuring.

"Did she just... bow to him?"

"We were too quick to judge. She might deserve a chance."

"That took courage. She didn’t have to do that, especially not in front of us like this."

With each passing second, Tera’s horror grew as she realised what she had just done.

And the following notifications did not help.

Xavi’s favorability had gone up? Now of all times?!

His eyes held a quiet look of approval.

’No! This is a misunderstanding!’

Tera wanted to pull out her hair and go back thirty seconds to undo all this mess!

Being guilty for what the former Tera had done was one thing. He deserved compensation for what he had been through, if anything. But if she had made the relationship regress, how long was she going to go on without his dick and tail after tasting it?!

’Wait. That shouldn’t even be my priority at all...’ Tera thought, feeling guilty for even thinking about sleeping with him when she had his feelings to consider.

Tera started to panic.

"I know an apology doesn’t fix any of this, and I know you have no reason to believe I’ve changed. But from the bottom of my heart—"

Tera’s words finished in a silent gasp as her mouth dried up completely.

If her tongue could shrivel up and die at that moment, it would.

Her lips clamped shut.

Ermin forced a smile, but she could see that it was clearly fake.

"Thank you."

Tera’s chest physically hurt.

She was going to have to fix this later somehow.

Tera berated herself as Ermin turned away from her and shifted to the side.

She had put him in a terrible spot. If she had just relaxed to think this over she would have seen that.

Still reeling from what had happened, Tera decided to leave Ermin on his own and focus on the important matter at hand.

Xavi had been discussing with his clan their plans to move and Tera had put in her thoughts and suggestions. Despite the clan apologising, she noticed a few of them were still silently disgruntled with her, and they weren’t entirely keen on trusting her.

After all, what did she know about the surrounding land when she had never left the tribe she had been exiled from?

She had even noticed Ermin’s confused frown when Tera had mentioned the dangers of them staying where they were or even moving anywhere close.

But Tera didn’t care if he found it strange that she had all this new knowledge.

With a little push and detailed breakdown from her due to the beast folk not understanding some land and drainage terminologies, she had convinced them to move farther west, where the system had scanned and discovered an unoccupied plateau not too far away.

Though it would take them two days of travel to get there, and Tera sincerely hoped the storm would not arrive by that time.

But the system had given her a vague response, claiming it wasn’t a weather forecast, which left Tera dreading the orgasm penalty.

She wasn’t going to take that chance.

So, she needed to create a makeshift shelter that could hold back the storm nearby before they even got to that plateau, but as they started the long travel, Tera’s spirit kept deflating.

There was flood damage for miles. Mudslides had torn through the lower slopes, and the ground was so saturated that every step squelched. Trees had been uprooted and tossed aside like twigs, and what had once been a stream was now a churning brown torrent.

And it still kept drizzling.

The next storm would literally wash whatever she would build out. Her only option would be to create something on higher ground.

The only problem was that the hills barely had any trees or coverings. And tools...

There were no tools that she would be able to use!

Thinking out of the box would take time too, and when Tera calculated all, it would take and what she would need to create at least something to push back any sort of storm, she felt a growing sense of dread.

Tera could practically feel the penalty breathing down her neck. Thirty days without an orgasm was a threat she was taking very personally.

However, a few hours later, Tera felt a rush of excitement despite the biting cold.

She had found a solution.
