Tokyo, Japan.

A young man in a pure white trench coat stood there, his features handsome and still carrying a trace of youthful softness. His irises were a deep crimson, and within each eye were three sickle-shaped tomoe.

Standing in front of Kotone Asaba was an orange, dog-like Devil with a chainsaw jutting from its head and a pull-cord tail.

The Chainsaw Devil wore a ferocious look and stared at him warily, but sweat was pouring off it. Several bullet wounds on its abdomen were still bleeding.

It was already in terrible shape. At this rate, it would probably bleed out and die soon.

Kotone Asaba held out his right forearm toward the Chainsaw Devil. "Go ahead. Drink my blood, and your wounds will heal."

The Chainsaw Devil hesitated for a moment, then bit down on his forearm.

Kotone Asaba sat down on the grass, waiting for the wound in the Chainsaw Devil’s abdomen to finish healing while he studied the Affinity Codex.

Pochita fell silent for a moment, then barked once.
